Whether it’s championship golf you’re looking for, outstanding fishing, or family days out to a local beach or castle, Kennox is perfectly situated.

Golf

A golfers paradise, the Ayrshire coast which stretches from West Kilbride in the north to Girvan in the south, is one of the most bountiful in links golfing anywhere in the world.

There are three Open Championship courses to challenge with outstanding beauty to match. This coastline will delight any golf connoisseur.

Isle of Arran

The Isle of Arran is a place where you can find a little bit of everything you’d ever want from a Scottish island; an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce.

A perfect day trip all year round. Relax on the beaches taking in the local wildlife or get your adrenaline pumping with one of the many outdoor activities.

Fishing

The Glazert Burn forms high on the Fenwick Moor and flows through the Kennox Estate via the River Irvine into the Firth Of Clyde. In the main, Brown trout can be found here, but at the right time of year the odd salmon as the make their way to their spawning grounds. While staying, you are welcome to try your hand at fishing the river.

For those who wish to catch something more substantial there are a number of fantastic local fisheries available.

Horse Riding

You are literally spoiled for choice when it comes to riding schools and stables in the immediate vicinity so if you would like to enjoy a leisurely canter along the beach or perhaps even try your hand at buggy racing there are local stables nearby who will be delighted to help.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

A great fun day out for the family with a couple of excellent schools in the near vicinity.
With advance notice and subject to meeting all the age safety requirements clay pigeon shooting and lessons can also be organised  to take place  at Kennox.
